Highway 50 closed for police investigation related to pair of drivers fighting in the street

Peel Regional Police (PRP) is investigating reports of an assault in Brampton.
At 6 p.m. today (December 8), PRP was called to the area of Highway 50 and Queen Street in relation to an altercation involving the drivers of two vehicles.
Both men are currently in police custody—one suffered minor injuries, the other was transported to hospital with a head injury, the severity of which is unknown.
Southbound Highway 50 is closed from Fogal Road to Queen for the investigation, drivers are instructed to find alternate routes.
