Highway 401 shut down in Ajax after multi-vehicle accident

A multi-vehicle accident on Highway 401 in Ajax has all lanes of the eastbound traffic shut down.
Traffic is being forced off at Westney but vehicles can rejoin the highway by going straight through onto the Westney Road ramp.
OPP and emergency personnel are on the scene and updates will follow.
