Crash shuts down Highway 401 in Mississauga

A collision on a major Mississauga highway has brought traffic to a complete stop late Friday night.
Eastbound traffic on Highway 401 at the 407 has turned into a parking lot after a collision one onlooker told INsauga.com involved a double-load truck that appeared to be blocking the middle two lanes.
All lanes are currently closed and traffic appears to be backed up for approximately two kilometres.
The crash happened sometime after 9 p.m. and emergency crews and police are on the scene.
Police are directing traffic off Highway 401 at Winston Churchill Boulevard.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
