UPDATE: High-risk offender unlawfully at large wanted by police

UPDATE: York Regional Police announced that Bowie had been located and taken into custody without incident.
A high-risk offender is currently on the loose after breaching a court order and police are looking for the public’s help to locate him.
On Sunday (Oct. 8) at 1:30 p.m., police say Neal Bowie was last seen near Major Mackenzie Dr. W. and Jane St. in Vaughan.
According to investigators Bowie—a township King resident, failed to return to his group following a daytime outing.
Police describe Bowie as a white man in his 40’s who has a height of 5-foot-9 and an approximate weight of 146 pounds.
Bowie was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, red t-shirt, black pants, and black Converse shoes.
Anyone who finds Bowie is asked to refrain from approaching him and call 9-1-1 immediately.
