There’s a lot more to do in the suburbs than you think, especially at Celebration Square in Mississauga.

It’s true – you don’t have to go downtown to have an incredible time!

From movie nights to fireworks to cultural festivals, you don’t have to go far to have a good time.

Here are all the different events happening at Celebration Square for summer 2018:


Fresh Air Fitness
Wednesday, May 23 – 7:00 p.m., every Wednesday until August 29
Work up a sweat as the sun goes down every Wednesday at Fresh Air Fitness with the City’s best instructors.

Movie Nights
Thursday, May 24, 2018 – 8:00 p.m., every Thursday until August 30
Let’s Stargaze! Grab a blanket and join your friends and neighbours under the night sky at the City’s biggest outdoor theatre.

National Public Works Week Family Fun Day
Saturday, May 26 – 10:00 a.m.
Join us for Family Fun Day – a celebration of National Public Works Week (NPWW).


Vesak: Buddha’s Birthday Celebration 2018
Sunday, May 27 – 2:00 p.m.
Welcome to the 7th annual largest Vesak Celebration in Canada.

Mississauga Ukranian Festival

Saturday, June 2 – 11:00 a.m.
The Mississauga Ukrainian Festival is back, celebrating its fourth year at Mississauga Celebration Square.

Celebrate Ramadan Iftar 2018
Tuesday, June 5 – 5:00 p.m.
The Celebrate Ramadan Iftar is aimed at bringing together Civic and Interfaith members of the Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto communities.

Lions Farmers’ Market
Wednesday, June 6 – 9:00 a.m., every Wednesday until October 24
Eat fresh and shop local this summer at the Square.

Mississauga Polish Day 2018
Saturday, June 9 – 12:00 p.m.
This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence.

Mississauga Halal Food Festival
Saturday June 16 and Sunday June 17 – 12:00 p.m.

TD IRIE Music Festival

Canada Day Celebration 2018

Philippine Festival Mississauga

Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8 – 11:00 a.m.
Philippine Festival Mississauga is back with an exciting line up of musical performance, presentations and family entertainment.


After Dark Earth Market
Saturday, July 14 – 4:00 p.m.
The City is teaming up with Many Feathers to host an After Dark Earth Market on July 14, 2018 at Celebration Square.

#BollywoodMonster Mashup 2018

Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21 – 4:00 p.m.
#BollywoodMonster Mashup is returning to Mississauga Celebration Square for its 8th spectacular season.

Mississauga Latin Festival
Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29 – 12:00 p.m.
Mississauga Latin Festival is back and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary.

TD Mosaic 2018 – South Asian Festival

Friday August 3 and Saturday August 4 – 5:00 p.m.
Mississauga’s free outdoor festival is back with South Asian music, dance, comedy, folk and Bollywood performances.
