Here’s how to get free legal advice in Milton

The Milton Public Library (MPL) is hosting a “Legal Drop-in” with Halton Community Legal Services to provide the community with an opportunity to acquire free legal advice.

The one-day event will take place on Aug. 16 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Main Library branch in the Teal Program Room.

A representative from Halton Community Legal Services will be on-site to assist with legal questions and concerns regarding Ontario Works, human rights, tenants’ rights, disability benefits, government pensions, employment insurance and employment standards.
