There are 20 red light cameras at Halton intersections, including this one at Brant St. and N. Service Rd. in Burlington.

In an effort to reduce vehicle collisions, there are 20 red light cameras spread across Oakville, Milton, Burlington and Halton Hills.

The Red Light Camera Program is run by Halton Region. According to statistics, there are about one collision per week because someone ran a red light.

Locations were chosen based on opportunities for safety improvement. The cameras only take photos when cars enter intersections after the red light has turned on. The fine for running a red light is $325.

Burlington

  • Brant St. and N. Service Rd.
  • Guelph Line and Mountainside Dr./Davidson Ct.
  • Guelph Line and S. Service Rd./QEW eastbound offramp
  • Guelph Line and Upper Middle Rd.

Halton Hills

  • 10 Side Rd. and Eighth Line
  • 10 Side Rd. and Ninth Line
  • Steeles Ave. and Ninth Line N.
  • Trafalgar Rd. and 5 Side Rd.

Milton

  • Derry Rd. and Commercial St.
  • Derry Rd. and James Snow Pkwy.

Oakville
