Helicopter crashes at Burlington, Ontario air field

A helicopter has crashed at the Burlington Airpark.

Initial reports say the incident occurred early this afternoon (May 15) at the small air field located on Bell School Line in north Burlington.

Halton police say two male passengers were on board.

One of the men received head injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The second occupant escaped without any injuries.

Police say the crash does not appear to be serious.

However, Transport Canada has been called in to investigate.

Emergency crews are also on the scene to clean up a fuel spill.

Runways have been closed at the air field.
