Paramedics are fighting to save the life of a man following a crash in Caledon on Tuesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene on Humber Station Road in Caledon shortly after 10:30 a.m. for reports of a crash, a spokesperson for Peel Paramedic Services told Insauga.com.
Paramedics say one adult male suffered life-threatening injuries and was being treated at the scene. The OPP has confirmed two vehicles were involved in what a spokesperson called a “serious” collision.
An Ornge air ambulance has been called in to assist paramedics, and police say the victim was rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious injuries.
The crash has led police to close Humber Station Road from King Street to Castlederg Sideroad and officers are asking drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
