Heavy snow to impact morning commute in Hamilton, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland

Some heavy snow could impact the Monday morning commute in Hamilton and most of Niagara Region.

Starting Monday morning (Jan. 24), an Alberta Clipper is expected to bring snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm to the region, with visibility reduced at times due to heavy snow.

The snowfall will dissipate by Monday evening.

Motorists are advised to expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas.
