Heavy rainfall forces closure of Oakville sports fields

Oakville residents looking to kick a soccer ball around or shag some fly balls today will have to cancel their plans.

Heavy rain has forced the Town of Oakville to close all its grass sports fields Wednesday because of the rainfall saturation.

Artificial turf fields still remain open today for users with permits.
