Heavy rain, humid conditions warning for Durham Region tonight

Environment Canada is calling for localized heavy rain and thunderstorms in Durham Region that will continue into the evening hours.
Rainfall amounts of 25 millimetres have already been recorded in some areas and total rainfall amounts of 50 to 75 millimetres are expected by late this evening.
A special weather statement has also been issued, with warm and humid conditions expected to continue into tonight. Humidex values will be in the mid to upper thirties.
