Heavy police presence on scene for shooting in Hamilton

Officers are on scene for a shooting investigation in Hamilton this evening (Dec. 12).

The shooting took place this evening in the area of Centre Mall on Barton St E.

Injuries are unknown at this time and there is currently no suspect description.

Police say it’s early in the investigation and there will be a heavy police presence at the scene until further notice.

Residents may want to avoid the area.
