Heavy police presence forces closure of major road in Milton

A portion of Bronte St. S., between Main St. and King St. in Milton is currently closed.
Halton police said there is a heavy police presence in the area due to a person in crisis. Reports of the closure started circulating on social media after 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 11.
Police from the Milton/Halton Hills detachment are asking pedestrians and motorists to avoid the area.
