Heavy police presence as officers respond to man with firearm inside Brampton residence

There’s a heavy police presence in Brampton tonight in response to a weapon-related incident.
Police were called at 8:00 p.m. for a man with a firearm inside a residence in the area of Seedland Cr and Naperton Dr (near Dixie at Countryside).
It’s currently unknown if the man has used the firearm or if there are any injuries.
Roads have been shut down in the area as the investigation continues.
Residents in the area are asked to remain in their homes until further notice.

UPDATE: Police say they have one man in custody and no injuries have been reported. Officers remain at the residence as the investigation is still ongoing.
