Heavy Peel police presence at a residential building in Mississauga

There is a heavy police presence this afternoon at a residential building in Mississauga and the public is advised to avoid the area.
On Sunday (Mar. 19) 2023, at approximately 1:50 p.m., police responded to a single residential unit near Strabane Dr/Eaglemount Cres in Mississauga.
Police say it is an isolated incident affecting a single unit and there is no direct threat to the public.
The investigation is ongoing and officers have not released any information on the circumstances of the incident or the identities of the persons involved.
Residents are asked to avoid the area in the meantime.
