Heavy fog warning in effect for Halton and Hamilton

A fog advisory is in effect this evening for Hamilton, Burlington, and Oakville.

Environment Canada says patches of fog that have developed this evening will continue into tomorrow morning, with near-zero visibility in the fog.

“Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero,” EC says.

If visibility is reduced while driving, residents are advised to turn on their lights and maintain a safe following distance.
