Head-on collision in Halton Region closes highway

The aftermath of a vehicle after a head-on collision.

Members of the OPP Highway Safety Division responded to reports of a head-on collision on Highway 6 in Burlington today (June 11).

Four separate individuals were taken to hospital as a result of the collision.

Police say their injuries did not appear serious.

The police investigation has closed Highway 6 between Haldibrook Rd. and Leeming Rd.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the roadway and use alternate routes while the investigation continues.
