Housing isn’t cheap anywhere, but some houses are a little more luxurious than others. Recently, real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa compiled a list of the top 5 most expensive homes that recently changed hands in Hamilton.

Here’s a look at some spacious family homes (and more striking mansions) that sold for over $1 million.

The five-bedroom, three-and-half-bath home was listed at $1,995,000 and was sold at the same price. This country estate spans 26 acres and boasts 3,000 square feet of living space. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom house was listed at $1,995,000 and sold at the same price. The main floor of the home boasts a master bedroom with an ensuite skylight, an open-concept kitchen and a formal dining room.


79 Lightfeather Pl:

This four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home boasts high-end appliances and hardware floors throughout. The home spans 3,000 square feet and has a huge kitchen island and butler’s area. The house was listed for $1,699,888 and sold for $1,600,000.


68 Whistler St:

This detached property promises a private staycation for its dwellers every day. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home boasts a livable space of 4,000 square feet. Listed at $1,499,000, the home was bought for $1,530,000. The home features an open-concept chef’s kitchen with breakfast bars, quartz countertops and high-end appliances. 


1120 Woodburn Rd: 

Nestled on 1.29 acres of meticulously landscaped land, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom house boasts over 4,700 square feet of living space. The home was listed at $1,549,000 and was sold for 1,550,000. The house features vaulted ceilings, a windowed powder room, a spacious kitchen with cherry wood cabinets and a large family room.
