One of Hamilton and indeed, Ontario’s best known craft breweries has scored another gold medal in national competition to add to its growing collection.

Collective Arts, known as much for their eclectic can artwork (supplied by renowned local and international artists) as for their top-notch ales, scored a best-in-show medal at Saturday night’s Canadian Brewing Awards gala in Quebec City for their Guava Gose.

The beer took home the gold medal in the German-style Sour category.

The medal was the fifth in the past four years at the nationals, including gold medals in 2019 (Life in the Clouds IPA) and 2018 (Radio the Mothership Imperial IPA).

Collective Arts is already in expansion mode, having opened a satellite brewery in downtown Toronto last year.
