Hamilton police say two women are facing charges after an argument over a parking spot escalated into a violent assault.
Officers say the incident started as a verbal argument on the Hamilton Mountain between the victim and two women.
Police allege the suspects punched the victim, pulled her to the ground and dragged her by her hair while using racial slurs, then drove away before officers arrived.
Police say the victim’s injuries weren’t life-threatening, and she declined paramedics’ offer to take her to the hospital.
On Wednesday, investigators charged a 22-year-old woman from Hamilton with assault causing bodily harm.
They laid the same charge against a 26-year-old woman from Hamilton the next day.
