Hamilton woman wins $50,000 playing Instant Crossword scratch game

After 43 years of playing the lottery, Debra Weber is celebrating her $50,000 win with the Instant Crossword scratch game.
The 61-year-old mother of three from Hamilton says he’s been playing since she was 18, but she was at a loss upon finding out she won.
“I felt frozen. My mind became blank,” Weber told staff at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “When I told my parents and daughter, they were so excited for me.”
She plans to pay bills and help her parents and daughter with her winnings.
“It feels exhilarating,” she added.

The top prize is $50,000.
The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.91.
The winning ticket was purchased at Rexall on Parkdale Ave. in Hamilton.
