Hamilton Water work to close portion of busy downtown street Thursday

A portion of Wellington Street in downtown Hamilton will restrict traffic through the area on Thursday (May 12) as crews from Hamilton water carry out a water service line replacement.
The City of Hamilton said in a Tweet issued Thursday morning, that lane restrictions along Wellington N from Cannon to Wilson Street will start at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will remain in effect until around 3 p.m.
Motorists may want to consider an alternate route or should expect traffic delays in the area for the duration of the work.
