Hamilton to host 'catch-up clinics' for 15,000 students who missed Hep B, HPV, Men-C vaccines

Hamilton Public Health Services announced it will be hosting catch-up vaccine clinics for students in grades seven to ten who missed their grade seven Hepatitis B (Hep B), Meningococcal ACYW-135 (Men-C), and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) shots due to school closures during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Public health estimates that 15,000 students in Hamilton are due for the vaccine series. Students will be able to receive all three at one time at a catch-up clinic. They will also be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine if required.

Beginning on Mar. 29, catch-up clinics will be held at the Lime Ridge Mall clinic at 999 Upper Wentworth St by appointment only. Bookings can be made online at hamilton.ca/catchupclinics or by calling (905) 974-9848.
