The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday that the CFL club has signed American placekicker Seth Small, who holds the Aggies’ all-time points record.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced Thursday (May 26) that the CFL club has signed American placekicker Seth Small.

The 22-year-old most recently attended mini-camp with the National Football League’s Indianapolis Colts (2022). The 5-11, 205-pound native of Katy, Texas played 46 games over four seasons at Texas A&M University (2018-21), converting 71 of 91 field goal attempts (78 per cent), including a career-long 52-yard field goal and a 28-yard game-winning field goal against #1 Alabama (2021).

Small holds the Aggies’ all-time record with 71 career field goals made and 377 points scored.

The Tiger-Cats now have three kickers on their roster: Small, Canadian Michael Domagala, and former pro rugby player Tadhg Leader, who has a Global designation.

All CFL clubs much have a minimum of two Globals on their roster. Hamilton currently has six heading into the 2022 season.
