Hamilton’s health care partners will be setting up mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinics at two of the city’s highest traffic areas over the course of the next week.

Public health has been targeting areas of Hamilton with lower vaccination rates as it uses mobile clinics to increase accessibility.

One mobile clinic will be stationed at The Centre on Barton, near Boston Pizza and across from Bluenotes, on Sept. 16 from 1 to 7 p.m. and Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m

Another mobile clinic will be located at CF Lime Ridge Mall on Sept. 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

To date, 800,563 doses of COVD-19 vaccine have been administered with 81.4 per cent of Hamiltonians born in 2009 or later receiving a vaccine and 74.3 per cent fully vaccinated.
