Hamilton surpasses 78% fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as public health announces mobile clinic stops

The Hamilton health care partners say 837,796 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered as of Friday (Oct. 8) afternoon. 83.8 per cent of eligible residents have received at least one dose and 78.5 are fully vaxxed.
The Provincial GO-VAXX Bus initiative will be bringing the vaccine to even more residents over the course of the next week as public health targets areas with the lowest rates of vaccination.
Individuals who are 12 and older before the end of 2021 are eligible to receive a first or second dose without an appointment.
