Triple shooting in Stoney Creek section of Hamilton under investigation

Three males were shot in the Stoney Creek section of Hamilton on Friday evening (Aug. 6).
Hamilton Police Service has closed the area at the corner of Paramount Street and Mud Street West after the triple shooting. There was no immediate word from the hospital on the severity of any of the shooting victims’ injuries, the HPS said.
Hamilton Police are conducting a shooting investigation in the area of Mud/Paramount in #HamOnt.
Three males located with gun shot wounds, transported to hospital.
An update will be provided when one becomes available.

Social media users who live in that area reported hearing gunshots and “many” sirens.
