Hamilton resident celebrating lottery win

A Hamilton resident is celebrating after a big lottery win.

OLG has congratulated 79-year-old Myrna Gale for winning $75,000 with Instant Uno.

“I checked my ticket while at the store,” Gale told OLG.

“The next thing I knew, the terminal froze, and I was on the phone with OLG.”

Gale told her husband about her big win right away.

“He wanted me to be careful not to lose the ticket,” she said. “I still don’t believe it.”

The mother and grandmother are planning to purchase a new stove and bed with her winnings and enjoy life with the rest.
