More than 300 homes and businesses were affected by a power outage in downtown Hamilton on Tuesday evening (July 20).

Alectra Utilities says the outage is along Main Street East and Hunter Street East, between Catharine Street South and Wellington Street South. The expected time of resumption (ETR) is 9 p.m. for the 330 homes and businesses who are affected.

The outage might also affect traffic flow along Main, which is one of the city’s busiest one-way streets.

UPDATE: Power was fully restored at 8:33 p.m. on Tuesday.

All outages in the Hamilton area can be tracked at horizonutilities.com, or at the @alectranews Twitter account.
