A small power outage on Hamilton Mountain is expected to last until mid-afternoon on Monday (Aug. 29).

Alectra Utilities says about 321 homes and businesses in the area of the LINC (Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway) and Upper Paradise Road were affected. The expected time of resumption has been revised to 4:30 p.m., although the outage is currently not large enough to be charted with an outage map.

The outage comes on a warm, sticky day in Hamilton, with the temperature in parts of the city likely to reach or exceed 30 Celsius. At 3 p.m., the humidex was 37C.
