Hamilton police still searching for suspect considered one of Canada’s most wanted

Hamilton police are still searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a high-profile murder.
On Monday, May 1, the Be On The Look Out Program shared the list of Canada’s most wanted individuals, which features suspects who are wanted by police in connection with crimes of attempted murder and manslaughter.
Daniel Tomassetti, 21 , is wanted in relation to two homicides. Tomassetti allegedly shot and killed Mila Barberi in March 2017 at a parking lot in Vaughan, and her murder was linked to Angelo Musitano, who was also shot and killed in his pick-up truck in May 2017.
Hamilton Police Service and York Regional Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in locating wanted person Daniel Tomassetti in relation to two homicides.

The suspect is still on the run, and multi-jurisdictional police are offering a reward of $50,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest or conviction of Daniel Tomassetti.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact Detective Nesreen Shawihat at 905-546-4863 or the York Regional Police Homicide Unit at 905 830 0303 ext 7865.
