Hamilton Police deployed drones to help investigate a three-vehicle crash on Centennial Prky Monday morning, sending two people to hospital.

Hamilton Police have shuttered streets through a residential neighborhood in the city while they fly drones overhead.

Access to Parkdale and Sylvia Rds. as well as to Martin and Lawrence Rds. has been restricted for the investigation. This prompted a warning from police who told motorists they should avoid the  Rosedale area as traffic will be affected.

Police advised the areas were closed shortly after 6 p.m. on Apr. 19.

Hamilton police have not indicated the nature of the investigation and have shared no details on what the drones are searching for.

Update 7:15 p.m.: Police confirmed they were in the area for a firearms investigation. They’ve arrested one man from a neighborhood home and reopened the roads.
