Hamilton police share images of theft suspects

Police in Hamilton are asking for the public’s help with identifying two men who committed an early-morning smash-and-grab robbery three weeks ago.

The pair smashed the front door of a business in the area of Barton St. E. and Wentworth St. N. around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16. The male suspects took merchandise within the store and fled on foot.

One suspect is described by the Hamilton Police (HPS) as someone who is 20 to 30 years old and stands between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot with an average build. He was wearing a grey track pants, a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt and brown boots.

The other suspect is described as a man who is between 5-foot-9 and 5-11 with an average build. On the morning of the robbery, he was wearing a white t-shirt with a Corona beer bottle printed on the back, dark shorts, a green-and-black hat with a mesh back, and black shoes with white soles.
