Hamilton Police seek to ID suspect in local gas station robbery

Hamilton Police are seeking help from the public to identify a man wanted for a gas station robbery that took place earlier this month.

Police said that on Friday, May 14, shortly after 4 a.m., a white Ford Escape pulled into the gas station at 648 King St. W, at Dundurn.

A man driving the car then, according to police, robbed the gas station of an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled in his car.

“Police believe that the last three digits of the license plate are 254 and that this vehicle is a Ford Escape between the years 2013-2016,” police said in a press release issued Thursday (May 27).

Police describe the suspect as:

  • Male/caucasian
  • 5’6″ – 5’7″
  • Curly short hair
  • Black windbreaker jacket says “ARC”
  • Grey Polo Collar Shirt
  • Grey running shoes
  • Blue medical mask

Police also describe the suspect’s car as:

  • White
  • Ford Escape
  • 2013-2016 model
  • four-door
  • five-star rims
