Hamilton Police release images of arson suspect linked to restaurant fire

Hamilton Police are seeking public’s assistance in connection to an arson that took place at a restaurant.
The incident occurred on May 24, at around 6:30 a.m., when police responded to reports of a fire at 301 Crockett St, which was later investigated as an act of arson.
The damages caused to the property are estimated to be approximately $50,000.
Authorities have now obtained surveillance footage of the suspect breaking into the restaurant and deliberately setting the fire.
The individual is being described as a male, between 30 to 40 years old, with short buzzed-style hair.
During the incident, the suspect was observed wearing a blue hooded shirt with white lettering, a black balaclava, blue jeans, and white and black running shoes.
