Hamilton police provide life-saving CPR to newborn baby and collapsed male

In one night shift Hamilton Police were able to save two lives, according to a statement from Deputy Chief Ryan Diodati.

Diodati says officers from Division 2 recently responded to a report of a newborn baby in respiratory distress.

In that same shift, the same group of officers also responded to a male who had collapsed and stopped breathing.

“In both incidents officers quickly provided life-saving CPR. Both people survived,” said Diodati, adding that it was “all in a night’s work.”
