Hamilton Police need help identifying dead body found in Chedoke Creek waters

The Hamilton Police Service is asking for help from the public as it works to identify a body that was located in the waters of Chedoke Creek.

Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, police were called after a body was discovered near the entrance to Kay Drage Park.

Police say the body was in the water “for a few days but no longer than a week.”

The death is considered suspicious.

Police say the body is of a male, possibly in his 30s. He was approximately 5-foot-10 and 200-pounds with short, brown hair.
