Hamilton Police seeking witnesses after vehicle arson in Dundas

Two Saturday nights ago, a vehicle was set on fire in Dundas, and Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate the suspected arson.

The Hamilton Police (HPS) say that on Aug. 13, shortly after 10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the area of Old Ancaster Road and Ogilvie Drive in Dundas, a village west of urbanized Hamilton. They found a black sedan that was ablaze and have “determined that the cause of the fire appears to be suspicious.”

On Tuesday, HPS released images of the vehicle. Investigators are appealing for for any witnesses who may have been in the area. They are also seeking dashcam or video surveillance footage from around the time of the fire.
