Hamilton Police investigate shooting near Lime Ridge Mall

Hamilton police are investigating a shooting on the central mountain Wednesday night.
Police received reports of gunshots at around 11 p.m. in the Upper Wentworth and Kingfisher Dr. area near CF Lime Ridge Mall.
While police did find evidence of shots being fired, no injuries have been reported.
The Hamilton Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in its investigation.
“Detectives are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras between the hours of 10:40 p.m. to 11:20 p.m. for any suspicious activity and to contact police,” the service issued in a press release. “Detectives are also asking if you were driving in the area and have dash camera footage that would be suitable for review; please contact investigators.”
