Hamilton police say two unknown suspects gained entry into a business in Ancaster and left with approximately $6,000 worth of inventory.

Officers with the Hamilton Police Service (HPS) continue to investigate two commercial break-ins that occurred in the summer of this year.

On Aug. 19, 2021, shortly after 4 a.m., two unknown suspects gained entry into a business in Ancaster and left with approximately $6,000 worth of inventory.

One week later, police say the two suspects targeted the same business but were unsuccessful.

They fled by foot on both occasions.

The first suspect is described by police as a white male with a medium build and shaggy hair. The second is simply described as a male with a slim build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
