Hamilton Police clock driver going 147 km/hr in a 50 zone

An 18-year-old driver from Stoney Creek is in hot water after being pulled over by Hamilton police in Dundas Wednesday night (Nov.11).

Police say the driver was clocked going 147 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

An officer was able to safely stop the vehicle and issued the driver tickets.

The driver had his vehicle seized and license suspended.

A court date has been set in February.
