Hamilton police believe one male suspect is involved in five commercial break-and-enter incidents in the area of James Street South and York Boulevard in March and April.

Police said they started investigating a series of commercial entries shortly after 2:45 a.m. on Friday, March 10. The incidents “appear to have the same motive,” according to a press release.

“The suspect attends the address and then proceeds to break the window or glass door, gaining entry into the business and then proceeds to the cash register,” the police said.

The suspect is described as a white man about 5’6” to 5’9” tall, with a thin build.

Investigators are asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.  If you have any information, contact Det. Const. Carolyn Crnac of the Hamilton Police B.E.A.R. Unit at 905-540-6329, or Det. Sgt. Shane Groombridge 905-546-2991.
