There is a place to get poke whilst out and about in downtown Hamilton.

Poke Co., which has earned strong reviews from foodies over its years on Ottawa St. N., recently expanded to a second location at 301 James St. N., near Barton. Poke bowls are a classic Hawaiian dish that contain cut or sliced fish, most often tuna, along with veggies, rice and seasoning. (Poke is the Hawaiian verb for “to cut or to slice.) There are vegan and vegetarian variations, and chicken is sometimes used as the protein base. Dishes at Poke Co. are 100 per cent gluten-free.

The James North location also includes a back patio
