Hamilton pair wanted in connection to Niagara Falls shooting apprehended: Police

Two Hamilton residents wanted in connection to a shooting at a Niagara Falls hotel in early February have been apprehended.

According to the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), 26-year-old Neiko Luigi Bodine and 25-year-old Kathleen Bacon of Hamilton were located recently by Brantford Police.

The pair were wanted in connection to a shooting that took place on February 2 at the Howard Johnsons Inn on Lundy’s Lane.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on the day in question, police said they attended the hotel and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital outside of the region and was treated for his injuries.

Police believe the incident to have been targeted.

Bodine and Bacon were identified early on in the investigation as suspects and have both been charged with attempted murder.
