Hamilton married couple share a dance after $100,000 lotto win

A married couple from Hamilton danced with excitement after realizing a $1 Encore investment fetched them $100,000 in an Ontario Lotto Max draw.
Ernest Hughes matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order.
The 62-year-old grandfather and retiree says he’s been playing the lottery for 20 years.
“I asked my wife to check the ticket on her phone,” Hughes explained, “and she said, ‘You won $100!’”
“When I looked at it, I realized it was actually $100,000.”
“I turned on the music, and my wife and I started dancing with excitement,” Hughes said.

He shared the big news with loved ones over a family dinner.
“They were all so excited,” added Hughes.
“Winning the lottery feels like floating through the air. I simply love it. It put a big smile on my face.”
He plans to save his winnings after completing some home renovations and travelling.
