Hamilton man ‘thrown from motorcycle’ after collision

A 40-year-old Hamilton man is recovering in hospital after a single-vehicle collision at Barton and Emerald St. Sunday night.

A 40-year-old Hamilton man is recovering in hospital after a single-vehicle collision at Barton and Emerald St. Sunday night.

Shortly after 8:30, Hamilton police say they received a call regarding a motorcycle collision. After arriving they found a male rider with injuries to his lower body and head.

After interviewing witnesses, police believe the motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Baron St when the rider lost control and struck the centre median, before he was thrown from the motorcycle.

Police say no charged are being laid.
