A Hamilton man cashed in his winning OLG Pools ticket and pocketed $111,541.50.

Philip “Russ” Gratkowski, a 51-year-old music lover and sports fanatic said he has been playing sports lottery games for the past 10 years.

“I knew my ticket was a winner, but I had to wait until the next morning to see how much I won,” he explained. “When I checked my ticket the next day, I thought I saw $11,000. A few minutes later I looked again and realized there was one more digit that my blurry eyes didn’t catch. I was not expecting the amount to be that high.”

He says he plans to buy an investment property with his winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Anytime Convenience on Main Street.
