Hamilton man arrested in Oshawa bar allegedly had a loaded pistol and 58 grams of crack cocaine

A man from Hamilton was arrested in an Oshawa bar for allegedly carrying a loaded pistol and 58 grams of crack cocaine.

According to Durham Regional Police, their officers went out to the Atria Bar at 59 King St. E. following reports a man was inside showing off a pistol. When the officers arrived they found a man they claim was carrying the pistol and ammunition. In the course of their investigation, police allege they also found he had crack.

The officers arrested Tyden Genno, 22 of Hamilton, in the bar. He’s been charged with 11 offences for illegal firearms possession, possession with intent to traffic crack, two counts of failure to comply with release orders and breach of probation.
