The City of Hamilton will be hosting a late-night COVID-19 vaccine clinic this weekend where you can receive a dose and then enjoy music, prizes, food and drink, and a public skate.

The City teamed up with venue management company, Spectra for the two-night event — Aug. 20 and 21 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at FirstOntario Centre.

Only on Aug. 21 will the event feature food and beverage concessions to those who get vaccinated. Individuals can also take park in a public skate.

No appointment is needed and walk-ins are welcome.

To date, 61.5 per cent of Hamilton residents have been fully vaccinated, including 71 per cent of adults and 70 per cent of those 12 and older. 78.5 per cent of adults and 78 per cent of those 12-plus have received at least one dose.

Hamilton’s lowest vaccination rate by adult age group is those between 25 and 29-year-old; 65.8 per cent have received at least one dose and only 55.5 per cent are fully vaccinated.
